Nursery & Early Childhood Care – Part Time
Come join our EC Care Team, where you will be serving children – infants through pre-school age. Your primary purpose is to provide dependable, safe, secure, and nurturing care to the children while at our Church, ages 0-5 years in a clean environment.
Job responsibilities include feeding, changing diapers, maintaining a safe environment, holding/sitting with children and cheerfully interacting with them, and leading the provided curriculum with stories, crafts, play and prayer. We are looking for people who love the Lord, love kids, and have experience with early childhood aged children. All positions require a high school diploma, at least 18 years of age, and a background check.
At FMC Midlothian, we view children and families as special gifts given by God. The purpose of the Early Childhood Ministry is to provide a Christian, early childhood setting in which infants to five year-olds can grow and learn, and develop spiritually, cognitively, emotionally, socially, and physically as God’s children
This is a part time (4-8 hours) weekly position with opening on Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights (during the school year), and other as needed childcare for various ministry events.
